    Bem-vindo(a) ao Polos Opostos.
    No final de 2018 eu e meu marido fizemos as malas e nos mudamos para a Filadélfia por causa do trabalho dele. Chegamos com expectativas, medo, fé e muitas dúvidas, muitas dúvidas mesmo…. como a maioria dos imigrantes. Nada era familiar: idioma, rotina, cultura e até a forma de viver a vida.
    Hoje, quase 8 anos depois, muita coisa mudou.
    Algumas coisas deram certo, outras deram muito errado… e foi exatamente nesse caminho que vieram os maiores aprendizados.
    Criei este blog para compartilhar a vida real de quem recomeçou fora do país: adaptação, erros, acertos, crescimento, fé e também novas oportunidades. Aqui você vai encontrar experiências verdadeiras, não para comparar histórias, mas para te encorajar a continuar a sua.
    Você não está sozinho nessa jornada de imigrante.

    Welcome to Polos Opostos.
    At the end of 2018, my husband and I packed our bags and moved to Philadelphia because of his job. We arrived with expectations, fear, faith, and many questions — just like most immigrants. Everything was unfamiliar: the language, the routine, the culture, and even the way life worked.
    Now, almost 8 years later, a lot has changed.
    Some things worked out, others went completely wrong… and along that road came the greatest lessons.
    I created this blog to share the real life of starting over in another country: adaptation, mistakes, growth, faith, and new opportunities. Here you will find honest experiences — not to compare journeys, but to encourage you to keep going in yours.
